Buddhism uses terminology found in the vedas and rejects the vedas calling itself "Nastika". By rejecting the vedas and using Sanskrit terminology to explain ideas concieved in the vedas (karma, samsara, moksha called as nirvana etc) Buddhism, especially contemporary one politicized by the likes of CCP and Nepali communists want to claim exclusivity. Unfortunately, trush has a power - called Satyagraha, even stauch Buddhists will soon see the parallels and antiquty of parallel Hindu philosophies like Buddism to understand it is also one. Nothing wrong in that.
