Hi Mike, winning or losing is always determined by evaluation based on some standard. The standards are set by us. If you set a standard where empericism and understanding of how an atom works so you can use an iPhone as "better" for your existence then science is definitely winning. But if someone thinks he is ok to die of a disease in his 30s living off a forest, and that can keep him happy, there metaphysics can win if it helps him find contentment over his existence. So which is better is subjective. Objectively, imho, one way is not better over the other.
